| THE '08 STRANGE STUFF STUDIO CUSTOM PROP, AND, MODEL BUILD-UP, ORDERING POLICY IMPORTANT STUFF YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT MODEL & PROP REPRODUCTION BUILDS Disclaimer - As with any quality replica built by Strange Stuff Studios, these are not toys nor are they to be used in lieu of night lights, lamps, etc. To preserve the longevity of the model's illumination and circuitry, it is strongly suggested that the illumination time frame be limited to no more than 30 minutes on. Although LEDs produce a negligible amount of heat, resistors are used to downgrade the amount of current supplied to the LED. Therefore there is minimal heat produced by the resistors in the voltage reduction process. Extended periods of illumination may have an adverse effect upon the styrene and Strange Stuff Studios will not be responsible for any such neglect. Models that are shipped go through a "burn - in" period where the lighting is left on at our discretion therefore assuring all facets of illumination work properly. On a final note, Strange Stuff Studios reserves the right to any changes of the policy below, should the need arise as times change. * All prices are in U.S. Currency. Prices will not be discussed via e-mail, please call for quotes. * All prices above cover the cost of special order after-market parts and accurate decals. * A 50% deposit is required, unless an alternative amount is mutually agreed upon. * Sound cards are available for sound events (phasers, torpedoes, warp drive, etc) * Special Effects units may be added to enhance realism. Inquire for quote prior to build. * Special flasher/strobe circuits are available for most kits. * Additional desired enhancements to dress up your work of art can be done to your specifications. * Prices vary from kit to kit. Much of this is due to the amount of detail and lighting that you desire. * Once an order is submitted, a confirmation email, will confirm and lock in your quoted price in the event of a price increase, and a position on the Production schedule will assigned for your project. * Strange Stuff Studios reserves the right to cancel any build at any time. Refund will be sent if this situation arises due to a defective kit, or initial deposit not being valid. * Payment due in full within 14 days from the date of final completion. If no attempt to contact us to resolve payment options is effected, it will be considered a forfeit, and client will lose deposit. * All sales are Final - No Exceptions - No Returns * All Shipments Are Done Overnight UPS for Medium-sized model builds. USPS Priority, for parts. * VIP COURIER SERVICE is available for Large-Scale high-end projects that require special handling. This service is only available within the Continental United States, within the specified zones. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Payment Terms Made Simple Payment is due in full prior to shipment. Payment is due within 2 weeks (14 Days) after you are notified your build is completed. Failure to communicate a reason for a delay in payment, which we can work out amicably, will result in you forfeiting the build, and losing your deposit. We practice good communications and ask that you do as well. Payment may be made either via Pay Pal, Cashier's Check, or Money Order. Shipping costs are not included in the quoted price for a build. You have your choice of UPS Overnight, or USPS. These are very fragile constructions, and require our special packing methods, which are included in the shipping price, and are fully insured by the carrier. USPS Priority mailing is available for any "parts" ordered. International shipping available for additional cost, contact us for rates. Note that there are limitations in shipping to certain countries set by International Shipping Services, beyond our control. A 50% deposit is required to initiate any project, the remaining 50% is due at the completion of your project. You must be at least 18 to order. Simple rule of thumb, order what is within your budget. Not all checkbooks are created equal. Such is life. I'd love a Ferrari Countach, but it's not within my budget to own one. THIS IS AN EXCELLENT OPTION FOR THOSE WHO ORDER A VERY COSTLY PROJECT, AND DON'T WANT TO RISK POTENTIAL DAMAGES THAT PRESENT-DAY SHIPPING COMPANIES UNFORTUNATELY CAUSE, IN SOME CASES WHERE SPECIAL CARE WAS NEEDED. OBVIOUSLY THIS LEVEL OF SERVICE ISN'T INTENDED FOR SIMPLER PROJECTS. THE SERVICE IS AVAILABLE IN THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES ONLY.
